I am not exactly sure where this came from, but one of my brothers posted this, and I wanted to share it here as well. I do not agree with every aspect of this little essay, but many great points are put forward in its text:
Satanic Hero Worship:
The embodiment of heroic evil, the Satanic incarnation of masculine might, exhibits a powerful build, a disciplined bearing and a noble demeanor. His dress, usually military or athletic attire, or bearing hints thereof, is totally designed for the display and celebration of the muscular male body; the clothing is eroticized by the power and might of the body, and further enhances that body's erotic power. The clothing identifies its wearer with the aristocracy of violence and hard-edged, dominating, masculinist pride.
The powerfully muscled Satanic hero does not hide his sexually commanding body under layers of clothing. He wears tight, revealing garments and if possible one or more items of leather. He is a fully-charged sexual battery of erotic, overwhelming physical power. It is the champion of evil who claims ownership of anything that speaks of strength, discipline, cruelty, and erotic power. Leaving only the symbolism of weakness, irresolution, softness, and flaccid defeat for the "good" hero, whose fate is humiliation by and submission to his overwhelmingly powerful foe.
Strength, confidence and ruthlessness when combined with hard-edged masculinity are intrinsically sexy. The powerful antihero overwhelms reason with passion, and intellect with emotion -- even while exhibiting an intellect in every way superior to his opponent's. These are man's primal and natural elements, and they are naturally appropriated by the Satanic hero, in his rebellion against every impediment to his ever-expanding power.
Males representing heroic evil are muscular and mighty with piercing eyes and sharp, chiseled features. The masculinist hero exults in his transcendence and is knowingly prurient, supremely confident of his sexual power, and of his effortless ability to inspire irresistible lust. He displays himself proudly in the knowledge of his physical perfection and in his confident exhibition of that perfection.
He is the ultimate embodiment of violent, irresistible Satanic power. He harnesses sexual energy and focuses it into a disciplined spiritual, psychic and physical weapon. His body, garments and mien unite to become a mighty engine of sexual energy, a triumphant dynamo of lust.
The unarguable sex appeal of uniforms is derived from their representation of masculine violence and power. The power of evil opts for masculinity over femininity. Nature as a feminine archetype was weak, compassionate and loving. However owing to the worship of masculine might and the glorification of violence and its romantic, Darwinist influences, nature is recognized by the Satanic hero as a cruel and barbarous force to be harnessed and directed unflinchingly against the foe; one which demands strength of character, discipline and tough-minded acceptance of the survival of the fittest.
The Dark Muscle God is the ultimate incarnation of the irresistible nature of violence and sheer masculine power. He seizes, naturally, the right to exert focused power against, and to enslave and dominate his foe. He is the visual representation of the right of the master, the urge of dark, eroticized power always to magnify and assert itself, to overpower, seduce and corrupt or destroy its opposite; the outward expression of Freud's sexual animalism. He embodies strength, authority, discipline and conquest. He demands absolute and eternal obedience, submission, and worship.
