"I'll Do Anything, Just... PLEASE DON'T TELL!" (Hustler/HIS Video) Is Now Available!

I love that the end of my first year of pornstardom ends in the same place it began: the Sunshine State. "Please Don't Tell" is "All Things Florida!"

And, damn! This was a fun shoot because (besides having the chance to work with Bradley West) I got to meet and hang with Brad Star, Steven Ponce, Eric Blaine, Derek Pierce, and Chase Evans. I miss the Florida boys!

But the best part was meeting and working with director Jim Steel who seemed to "get" me like no other! Really appreciated how he works, and his creative process. As a Sagittarius, it is pretty dang rare that this kind of chemistry occurs with those in ... erm ... positions of authority?

Click here to view/purchase "Please Don't Tell" on the Hustler Hollywood Store website (must be 21 years of age or older to view). Howard, Matt, and David at FabScout Entertainment: Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!

Time to Party Like a Frat Boy from Hell!

Okay enough of my silly and self-indulgent introspection ...

My name is Brodie, not Broody!

So where's the effing party?

Right here on Gay College Sex Parties, bien sur!

And this particular party includes lots of speedos and underwear, even.

Oh! And know this:

Just as the BaitBus is "for real," we really are real college students!

Really!

The Dreaded 'Porn Guilt' and My DUI

Ever heard the term “porn guilt?” I first heard it during my first big studio experience with Titan.

Coming from an orthodox Mormon background, this term was especially interesting to me. And any “porn guilt” that I possess definitely came to the surface during my jail experience last summer in Miami. It left me feeling like I was somehow being punished by the "god of my childhood. "

During and after the jail experience, being a BadMormon was no longer fun or liberating but instead felt like it had very real consequences for which I was not prepared. I was once again a seventh-grader, and the straight guys were forming a threatening circle around me. My physical integrity and survival were compromised by my sexuality--something that I could not change.

I know all of this can so easily seem like an absurd comparison. But that's how the unconscious mind works sometimes, eh?

Anyway, shopping at Publix today (for the first time since I moved out of South Florida) in Atlanta made me connect once again with the fear related to that trauma. There is a "sounding" (hearing?) this Wednesday where I will find out at least some preliminary information about the outcome of my DUI case in the traffic courts, and I am pretty much full-on freaked. I will keep the blog updated with the latest once Wednesday comes and goes!

But talking about something helps take its power away, so I am writing here about it. (And I appreciate so much the encouragement of fans to write about more "philosophical topics" as well as the courage of other guys like Damon Demarco who have written about these kinds of personal experiences.) There is so much more to explore and express, and I will keep talking until I know "everything is going to be alright!"

Atlanta is More Than Hot!

After spending about a week here so far, I can report in clear conscience that Atlanta is more than just "hot"--the phoenix is the official symbol for the city, so that kind of energy is everywhere … the phoenix is also the logo for a club called "Heretic" (hello!), and the leather stores are amazing. (Ever seen a pony mask? HOT!)

I seem to be getting busier than ever now, and I might be slow to respond to e-mails for a bit until I get settled again in Seattle. Until then, bear with me and I will write again when I get to the PNW (the Pacific NorthWest)! =)

Next Stop: The Mississippi Delta!

So it's official: my new U.S. Passport is ready to go because my time in Florida is up!

But it's all good because there is lots of fun to be had ahead! I am still in the process of letting everyone here know about this new development, and that part is hard.

However, nothing is really going to change that much since porn actors use so many different cities as their "home base" and travel wherever needed (sometimes at the drop of a hat even), right?

On the 17th (of this month--a week from Saturday), the travel extravaganza begins, and the first stop is the Mississippi Delta where the blues were born, baby! It's true--we are planning to get ICEEs and everything! After that, I get to see Hotlanta for the first time in my gay life. What happens after that? Stay tuned because it's kinda late on a lame Tuesday night while I am writing this, and I really have to get to bed (after my bedtime cig of course)!

Still, it's hard not to grapple with the question of where I will end up calling home. California? Texas? Seattle? Hotlanta? Who knows! It might be kinda cool to be in Hotlanta, though, because Chris Neal lives in Greensboro (North Carolina? I don't know--I'm not from the South)!

I'm pretty sure that--whatever happens--the truth is that I will always be a SoCal boy.

Hail, Instigator Magazine and the "LBC!"

OMG and who'd a thunk it? Instigator Magazine comes out of my true hometown of Long Beach, California--so excited about that, I am!

Thank god for the way it maintains one of the few remaining examples of a true queer ethic. I love you, Instigator--for making me feel less crazy and for giving me permission to be a real man (or at least die trying)!

I admit it: I miss Dallas (and this pic was taken there so it's relevant)!

Okay I really am finding that I have a love for the Seattle area, but do I get to rant on here a little (about something totally unrelated to the Pac NorthWest at that)? Because I am really getting sentimental right now over Texas and where I was last year at this time. Being sentimental is prolly (don't you love "prolly") worse than indulging a rant, but ah what can you do .... it's that god damn Cancer Asecendant in my astrology who is to blame.

There is just so damn much to be said for "wide open spaces" and people who are not afraid of having big emotions and not just big hair.

I am still searching for a place where I can regain the spiritual strength and camaraderie I had as a Mormon youth, but Dallas was where I at least felt the ghosts that remain from that period of my life.

And now I am wanting to go back. Spending a good 20-plus hours in jail last month forced me to get back in touch with my pretty little heart chakra. Suddenly nothing was more important than letting those I cared for know that I loved them--as long as they knew that, I knew everything was okay.

It was last year at this time that I was moving to Texas for the first time in my life, and (though its cliche' to put it this way) "everything seemed possible." Little did I know there was porn in my future lol ... I was working on my music and vids at that point, and Sugarland was hanging out on the car CD player. ("How long til our dreams run dry?" F*ck yeah!)

Coming from Orange County made it frighteningly easy to adjust to Dallas, and I was surprised at all of the similarities. My boyfriend reminds me that I didn't like the fact that it was markedly colder than the OC, and though I agree, giving up my California sun and the refuge of Upper Newport Bay also added to the sense of making a "sacrifice" in the blessed name of my "art!" (God, I am so full of myself ... please hit me?)

So--to sum this all up--I kinda think I could go back to Dallas. I just needed to confess that (along with explaining the reason Sugarland is my song on my MySpace). There is really nothing like Texas, alright? I said it. (And I really hate namedropping as much as the next guy, but I do believe that Blake Riley would understand how I feel, okay?)

The kicker is this question: Is feeling attracted to life in Texas a good thing or a bad thing (taking into account my hard-core Mormon upbringing) ? ? ?

Wrestling Vid Coming Up ?

So I just found out that tomorrow, I will be shooting a scene that sounds like it could be very hot! I can't say too much else about it yet, but I will write more as soon as possible. It is going to be a very busy time ahead because I leave the next day (Saturday) for the Pacific Northwest!

Hopefully, I will be able to catch up my profiles and respond to e-mails once I get there and have some time to recharge. Is it possible to ever feel totally "caught up" and "on top of" all of this stuff? =)

I am definitely still in the adjustment phase of learning how to balance all of the many aspects of being a part of this industry. But, I can honestly say that I love it so far!
