On the heels of the latest Vid ("Live in the Emerald City"), I am recommending some "light reading" LoL ... there will be more to follow as this is the first installment of "Brodie's Books."


I first read "Pacts With The Devil" in the summer of 2001 while living on Newport Avenue in Long Beach (CA). That's Kurt Wild (my scene partner) on the boxcover. He is hot, no? And equally as beautiful on the inside as well--what a stud. One of my favorites, and working him was truly a pleasure . . . he was actually wearing those same Hanes blue briefs when I first saw him on location where we were filming ! His openness and and genuine warmth were so awesome and made him even hotter . . .

I haven't watched our scene yet, but I remember thinking afterwards that it could easily turn out to be one of my favorites . . .

Mr. Nude Seattle Contest Featured in "Seattle Weekly"

Thanks to Dane Hyde (my bud and costar in Titan Media's "Men's Room III") for sending me this link for a Seattle Weekly article on the Mr. Nude Seattle Contest. Guess it speaks for itself regarding the progressive/sex-positive nature of the event--always more than happy to be a part of that sort of thing . . . !!!

The Contest was a blast--I think Seattle rocks. The guys are edgy and creative and fun and thoughtful. The theater was a great performing space, and I was told that some of the comments about my performance included that it was very "entertaining" and that they crowd "ate" me up. That made me feel good, and I am looking forward to a follow-up appearance next year. More pics of the event to follow . . .

Waiting to go onstage with the other two guest performers, Cole Ryan showed me a few of his martial arts moves (he is damn good and scarily coordinated) while Damon Phoenix poured his hot body into a uniform that he explained was "latex" which led to a discussion about latex versus vinyl versus rubber ... and stuff ... both are cool guys.

Thanks again to Martin Dively, the event's creator/producer for making me feel so comfortable there--and to his crew: Ed (thanks for letting me practice my "pornstar interview" questions with you), Jeffery (thanks for letting me sleep in your bed), Ken (thanks for showing me Seattle's "Crypt"), and the gang for taking such good care of me and making sure that I had ample portions of Atkins Protein Bars and Diet Coke !

Best part was finding out that someone found a tissue that had been ... erm ... used ... in the aisles after the event was over. Good to know that--at least for a moment--the venue was turned into a bath house. NICE!

SLAMMED !! (in a good way)

K, so (like the Mississippi Delta--check that sh*t out!) I am currently up to my levee with work right now, but I am enjoying the flood . . .

After shooting two movies in L.A. this past week, I find myself now getting ready for performing at the second annual Mr. Nude Seattle Contest in two days. And this is my very first strip-tease/dance, so it is important to me!

While it is awesome being slammed with so many fun things at once, I also fear that maybe I am having a tough time keeping on top of everything and (more importantly) keeping in touch with everyone !

But all will be back to (my version of) normal after Monday night, so--if you are reading this--please give me a bit of slack until then . . . (We all need a bit of that occasionally, right?)

I promise to return with Pics-A-Go-Go next Tuesday ! =)

Back from L.A. Shoots with Naughty America and Unzipped Video !!

Just finished shooting scenes this week for Unzipped and Naughty America (Suite 703) on location in Los Angeles. It was a blast, and I got to work with some amazingly hot guys.

Working with Doug Jeffries again was great--what an awesome, insightful, and talented guy he is. I appreciate how much he cares about his performers and love that he has a "soul." The scene should offer plenty of the thrills that "Bottom of the Ninth" did and more. He is a great mentor as well and offered some really helpful hints for stripping -- something I can use on Monday at the Mr. Nude Seattle contest!

Got to meet Chi Chi LaRue in person finally as well! She is super encouraging and such a postivie and upbeat person, and her "Deep South Parts 1 and 2" (Falcon) have always been some of the most inspiring videos out there for me. And the "Link" series is brilliant of course . . .

Anyway--wow, I can't believe how crazy-busy things are--now I have to work hard on my show for the Mr. Nude Seattle Contest on Monday ! Will write more tomorrow . . .
