Today, I auditioned for "The Lair," a TV series on gay cable channel "Here." I met Casting Director Gino Colbert this past weekend at a shoot for Robert Van Damme's new production company.
I felt like
I instantly clicked with Gino at the shoot, and he liked my stage presence and suggested that I come and read for this show (whose cast includes Johnny Hazzard, COLTON FORD--my role model because of how he combined a porn career with a dance music and film career--and other pornstars).
The reading was magical for me. Although there is every chance in the world that--in reality--I actually fell flat on my face, it seemed like the audition went so well. More important than that, it was FUN--I have not had a fun/good audition for SO long. I had forgotten what a blast it can be.
Hoping for a callback ... will keep you posted! :)
Leatherfest in Palm Springs this weekend--would be my first. I am so tired from all of my running around and jetsetting to Washington State, and Florida, and back to California. Then traveling back and forth between Palm Springs and Los Angeles. But I still really wanna go!!
